CT- POW

What is CT-POW?

CT-POW (Computed Tomography – Protocol Optimization Workshop) is an interdisciplinary, hands-on conference dedicated to enhancing CT protocols and workflows. Designed for radiologists, CT technologists, imaging informaticists, and medical physicists, this event provides a unique opportunity to collaborate, learn, and implement practical solutions to optimize CT imaging practices.

Day 1  of CT-POW, 8/12/25: Group Photo

Why Attend CT-POW?

  • Hands-on Learning – Engage directly with leading experts in CT imaging and workflow optimization.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration – Connect with professionals across multiple specialties to develop well-rounded solutions.
  • Real-World Problem Solving – Work on practical case studies and apply knowledge to solve everyday CT protocol challenges.
  • Actionable Takeaways – Leave with strategies and tools you can immediately implement in your practice.
8/12/25: Giuseppe Toia MD, MS & Aria Salyapongse MS help to demonstrate a CT Guided Biopsy procedure during the Interventional Lab session.

Who Should Attend?

CT-POW is designed for professionals involved in CT imaging, including:

  • Radiologists – Learn how protocol optimization impacts diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes.
  • CT Technologists – Gain insights into advanced scanning techniques and workflow improvements.
  • Medical Physicists – Explore strategies to minimize radiation dose while maintaining image quality.
  • Imaging Informaticists – Discover best practices for integrating protocols into clinical systems.
8/12/25: The Hands-on CT Protocol Optimization Lab was attended by Radiation Oncology students, Medical Physics students, CT Technologists and GE Engineers to name a few.

What to Expect at CT-POW?

  • Expert-led workshops on protocol refinement and radiation dose management
  • Interactive case discussions and workflow analysis
  • Live demonstrations on optimizing CT scanner settings
  • Networking opportunities with leading professionals in the field

Join us for this groundbreaking event and be at the forefront of CT imaging innovation.
