Technologist Advisory Boards

Four clinical CT technologists from two locations within the UW Health network and two CT specialists from the GE Applications team met on February 7, 2017. They reviewed the protocol language and instructions to make them easier to understand and more universally applicable outside of the UW Health system.

The next Technologist Advisory Board meeting occurred on May 16, 2018. In addition to technologists from our academic and trauma centers, this board also included technologists from our outreach partner sites, who work in a rural practice and are required to perform a wide spectrum of imaging modalities, as well as technologists from new GE customer sites that recently adopted the UW CT protocols.

Our 2019 Technologist Advisory Board was held in Louisiana with technologists from Ochsner Health System. We wanted to capture their feedback after a system-wide deployment of the UW / GE CT Protocols. Approximately one year after the conversion, they were in a unique position to provide excellent feedback from many perspectives.
